When Rachel contacted me about photographing her wedding in New York, I of course said yes! I told my best friend (who happens to be my assistant) to pack her bags because we were New York bound! This was such an amazing trip with such an amazing couple. I felt priveleged to be a part of such a unique and non-traditional wedding. Since Rachel did her own hair and makeup we decided to do the first look the day before the wedding in the city!
The next day was wedding day! It was actually quite the adventure getting to and from her Uncle’s beautiful estate in Long Island.
Hiding from guests…
The beginning of their ceremony started with prayer from multiple guests and hymns. They sat next to their families since this was a non-traditional wedding and a little longer than most.

The reception was filled with food & toasts from family members!
